Only once you use it , will you see the significant difference compared to standard wax scrapers. So no excuse not to change your wax. Why change the wax ? For the season... have the right wax for the temp of the water. Change it especially if there is a lot of sand in the wax... reduces wetsuit wear and rash attack and a good fresh wax, prepped well makes for a good grip. The wave shape gives a maximum efficiency all along the edge because the angle changes as it moves.
